Your feedback is shaping JingleMaker. Here’s what we’ve added and improved so far — and a place to tell us what you’d like next.

Beta runs until 1 December 2026. Bugs are expected while we test. Earlier changes are grouped by release theme rather than assigned unverified release dates.

Latest improvements

Your account, feedback & launch plans

  • Added account deletion from My Profile, with confirmation safeguards.
  • Added an admin feedback inbox so the team can review your messages.
  • Introduced mobile navigation and clearer links to the guide, roadmap and feedback.
  • Renamed signed-in access to Full beta access and published intended Free, Creator, Station, Network and Custom launch plans.
  • Updated the planned launch to 1 December 2026 and added this BETA Updates Log with feature requests.

A more flexible multitrack studio

  • Brought voice, beds and sound effects together in a draggable tracker, with multiple clips in each lane.
  • Added lane shortcuts for recording, uploading, text to speech and browsing the library.
  • Added pop-up bed and SFX browsers with previews and Add controls.
  • Improved clip dragging, kept clip widths stable when moving, and bounded timeline zoom with a fit-to-view option.
  • Updated waveform rendering, added colour-linked SFX markers and made the red playback cue draggable.

Playback, levels & mixdown

  • Separated solo track playback from Full mix playback, with independent play controls and playhead positions.
  • Improved playback timing so voice, beds and SFX are scheduled together from the selected cue.
  • Added bottom multitrack transport controls, live level metering and timeline zoom.
  • Restored the pinned library preview player and added clip preview controls.
  • Added WAV and MP3 mixdown with optional normalisation and editable export filenames.

Voice editing & presenter effects

  • Added selection-based effects with audition, Apply, Discard, bypass and undo/redo.
  • Introduced reverb, echo, flanger, chorus, phaser, pitch/formant, distortion, sweep, stutter, reverse, glitch, widening, fades, normalise and silence tools.
  • Kept the effects area open and introduced colourful presenter-style effect pads.
  • Added crop-out selection, Delete-key editing and insert silence with a chosen duration.
  • Improved waveform selection, separated it from SFX placement and mirrored voice edits in the tracker.
  • Aligned voice and tracker styling and standardised editor buttons for smaller screens.

More ways to create a voice track

  • Added MP3/WAV uploads and microphone recording with a live waveform, timer and level meters.
  • Added choices to start again, add another recording or discard when a voice already exists.
  • Added separate voice clips in the multitrack.
  • Integrated ElevenLabs text to speech and re-voicing, using your own API key and voice library.
  • Added clear sign-in and connection prompts for ElevenLabs tools.

Beds, sound effects & library management

  • Added signed-in access to the hosted bed library and a dedicated sound-effects library with starter whooshes.
  • Added preview playback, drag-and-drop placement, per-item volume and easier removal.
  • Added artwork, duration labels, categories and descriptions to library items.
  • Added admin category management, title/description editing and previews before uploading.
  • Kept library management admin-only and added People & access controls for assigning admin access.

The beta foundations

  • Launched the browser-based JingleMaker editor from Radio Essentials with separate voice and bed levels, trimming and audio export.
  • Added free sessions with your own audio and no email gate; signed-in beta accounts can access the hosted library.
  • Set a 10 MB upload limit and a five-minute editor limit.
  • Added the full User Guide, Feedback page and a public roadmap for future improvements.
  • Improved mobile layouts, added unsaved-session warnings and keyboard playback/undo controls.
  • Updated product SEO, privacy links and branding, and strengthened account permissions and dependency security.
